Default G-FORCE Trans, clutch problem ?

the problem that I'm having, i had a clutch masters fx 700 for a 94 and up b-series before i got this dog box i had no prob with the cluth i use to beat the **** out of It. so I order the dog box and on the first pass the car bogs out of the hole I still make the pass when i make it back to the pits the tranny was making this loud noise so the next day i took it apart and notice that the splines where stripped on 1 of the disk and the rest of the cluth heated to hell. then I also notice that disk had a lot of play on the main shaft more than normal. a friend of mine has the same trans, clutch and it also had a lot of play. we sent the boxes back he said there where no probs with the trannys and that we need to use a 90,91 integra clutch with the size of 1'' x 24 spline. so get the box on thursday and I order the clutch on tuesday. so i went to the local 3 parts store to make sure that what I order was fine come to find out that it those not fit at all.

So my ? is what clutch are u guys using on your G-force trans.

here's the pic of the stipped splines

You bought the wrong clutch spline dia to start with..newer B-series are bigger than the 1in shafts on the 91 and older models.

well that's the problem right there I was told by lou at g-force that he uses the smaller shaft. now i go ahead and order the 1'' x 24 spline and it does not fit is to small for this input shaft.

Have you personally checked the spline diameter?

There is a 24 x 31/32 and a 24 x 1 1/32. Just measure the spline and see which one you have. I don''t know why they would ever build a tranny like that and use the smaller spline.

[QUOTE=QUICK8CIVIC;43471735]Have you personally checked the spline diameter?[/QUOTE.

Stock grs main shaft splines (OD) 25.36 mm (ID) 23.71 mm. length of contact point on main shaft splines 30.50 mm.

G- force main shaft splines (OD) 25.32 mm (ID) 23.47 mm. Length of contact point on main shaft splines 25.40 mm.

This are the Spline diameter that I have before I sent it out 2 g-force haven't had time 2 check this one out.

I don't see any major problem to warrant a damaged clutch disc spline teeth with the dimensions you gave..the other thing I'll look into would be the vibrations generated from a disaligned spline to flywheel pilot bearing.make sure that your bellhousing sits/mates square to the block..
