So i bought a new rdot hood (crap, i know -- but i needed something on the cheap and ASAP and local junk yards had nada). What size bolts should be used to attach the hood to the hinges? A standard 10 mm bolt seems to fit in the back 2 holes on either side but not the front holes -- WTF? Really hoping the hood isn't so shitty that threads are messed up.

To sum that up, basically there is 4 holes (2 on each side) of the hood where bolts attach the hood to the hood hinges. The bolts that fit my original honda hood only fit in the back two holes on either side and not the front...WTF?

scratch that, i guess R-Dot is not the manufacturer but a compliance thing meaning it's up to OEM standards or something...

It says TKY and I'm guessing that's the manufacturer..

 

i know this is kind of a ridiculous questions .. but anyone? How can I know what bolt will fit from just looking at the hood?
