Default distributor is making noises.

went on a long road trip yesterday and i had a heater hose bust and the thermostat was sticking.after replacing these things i drove about 100 miles then stopped at a gas station and realized the distributor was making noises.it sounded somewhat like a duck call and was loud.if you held your hand on the distributor cap you could feel it when it mad these noise it was kinda of grinding.i was just wondering if anyone had run into this problem before.this is a first for me.

sounds to me like the shaft is sticking. after this its going to start making more noise, and make ur car slower, because its getting stuck to itself. where are you located. i have a couple dizzys for cheap.

if you can get to the bearing, you would literally have to rebuild everything. but you dont need anything new electrical.
