Default Soft Brakes when stopped

My brakes work fine while driving and I just had the rear ones replaced, but I have a problem that has been around for awhile. At stop lights my brakes go soft. If I keep the same pressure on the brake pedal, the car will start rolling. I have to apply more pressure on the brakes to keep the car still but by doing that, the brake pedal will eventually go all the way to the floorboard. I have checked the brake fluid and it's fine, any ideas on what might cause this or how to fix it?

It's your master cylinder. Mine did the exact same thing back in July (did it more on really hot days). Replaced MC and bled lines real good and it works good as new

BTW--I'd recommend getting a NEW MC from Honda instead of a reman'd one. The first reman'd 1 I put in was defective and made all 4 of my brakes lock up (quite a headache that thing caused). After asking around a bit, it seems those reman'd master cylinders are often troublesome.
