2 problems/questions about my b16 build ..
1. for the threads on the back of the crankshaft where the fly wheel goes, what size heli coil, drill bit, and tap do i need to get to make a new thread pattern in there ? Im rebuilding my motor, and i took the tranny off, as i took out the flywheel bolts, one of the threads inside is jacked up...
2. on my third piston connection rod cap, it would fit in too tight. i had to shave down the side of the cap just a tad little bit in order to prevent the motor from seizing everytime i turned it over to check if it was binding. i took the cap off and sanded down the sides a bit, now it's got a little bit of play when i move the cap from side to the against the crank at bdc.. not alot, just a tiny bit not even a mm. Is this alright ? Would I still be able to run it without a problem ?
