so i just did a manual swap on my 02 civic. i have the d17 and it wont get spark at the coils. i changed the engine harness and ecu and i tryed starting it and i wouldnt do anything. so i changed two interior harnesses. one of them was the one that goes to clutch pedal sensor and steering wheel. after that i got crank but im not getting spark at the coils. do i have to change all the harnesses or what could it be? can someone help me out. thanks

 

I just did the swap as well and I am not getting any crank from the engine. I didn't change the dash harnesses out but I did the 2 wire hack. Im checking the starter tomorrow to see if it might be that. I also swapped keys - you might want to get your keys flashed, after swapping the immoblilizer may not be functioning.

 

Yeah, if you didn't get the car reflashed at honda it won't start. Cause the key's/ecu/ignition arn't matched so the immobilizer is preventing it from starting.
