Default EM1 not starting

I have a 2000 civic si, its mainly stock besides headers, intake, exhaust, clutch. When I went out to start my car this morning it would not start. Yesterday it was working perfect, no sign of any problem at all. The car does crank fine (I attempted a jump just in case, did not work) so the battery is not the problem. I listened for the fuel pump to turn on when I put the key in the 2nd position and I do believe it turns on (though I'm not 100% familiar with the noise its supposed to make). I also checked a few fuses under the dash that seemed related and they were all fine. So basically I am stuck. Also the car is at school (3 hours away from home), but I came home this weekend with a friend so I plan to bring back anything I might need. What kinds of things should I take back and try, I realllyyyy don't want to have it towed to a shop?

When you turn the key to ON(II), you should hear the low humming/buzzing noise of the fuel pump priming for 2 seconds in the fuel tank. If you are not sure whether the pump primes, remove the fuel cap and then put your ear to the fill hole while a
buddy turns the key to ON(II).

Next check the plugs for spark. Click the Spark link in my signature.

Have you checked for CEL codes? https://honda-tech.com/forums/honda-civic-del-sol-1992-2000-1/how-pull-cel-d4-srs-abs-codes-code-lists-1901557/

Check distributor cap/rotor, spark plugs. See if they are giving any spark. It seems like the only problem there. The fuel pump shouldn't go out like that. Also when is the last time you serviced those components?

Finally got around to checking the plugs. I tested each wire with a new plug and each produced an orange spark. Then I checked the actual plug and there were beyond need of replacement (tip was completely gone flat, hook thingy gone too). I replaced all the plugs with the new ones and tried to start.. still no go. So I am assuming I need to replace just the distributor coil? Or the whole distributor and rotor?

Weak spark is generally the sign of a bad coil. Resistance test it:
