Default tokico illuminas, what springs?

im set on the illuminas, but need to figure out a good spring to go with it, have about 150- 200 to spend for the springs, its for my daily driver civic hatch, so of course smooth and bumpy is a concern. im running on 195/50/15's, and i dont want a spring too low thats gonna make my tires rub against the fender when i bust a bitch! Wanting something that the fenders will just be right on top of the tires maybe like a finger gap the lowest. wel lmk guys

It would probably be worth looking at H&R Sport Springs or Eibach Pro Series springs.

H&R's website will list the drop for your application, Generally its between 1.5-1.9 inches or so, depends on the car tho so you will need to figure that out for yourself. They list on TireRack for under $200. That would be a nice suspension setup for a DD. You really don't want to go much lower than that if you have any sense of practicality.

Also, Eibach's are pretty much the same in terms of price and drop, though they may very slightly.

Don't cut the springs. I will be running whites and HR race springs. I only have 13s on my civic now so idk what they will look like with 15s. Prob sit right at the top of the tread.

also keep in mind you mentioned that this is a daily driver. These springs will drop your car but will still allow you some practical ground clearance. You will definitely lose the goofy look of the stock springs. See if you can find anyone who has lowering springs installed so you can get a sense of what it looks like. I believe there is a thread somewhere on H-T that is just pictures of peoples cars with various suspension setups. It's actually a great resource.

I used them with H&R Race springs, I personally think it was a little too much for them. Should be good w/ H&R sport though.
