intake air temp?
could it be from heat soak? If you run your car for a while then turn it off and let it sit, the sensor gets hot from all the heat the engine generated. Then when you start it the s300 will see a high temp because its soaked up all the heat from the motor to the intake manifold. Depending on what you set the air temp/ fuel perameters it will eather lean or richen the fuel mixture.. mostlikely lean tho. because hot air is less dense thus needing less fuel to burn a stoichiometric AFR. But in reality, cold air is going into your motor and the computer is sensing false hot air because it is heat soaked.
just a thought.
just a thought.
Are you boosted? If so, what compressor and what size intercooler are you using? When did you see that reading?
I've been monitoring my IAT for over a year, and the highest I've seen is about ~165, sitting in traffic on a hot day.
