AC possible on a h/b/k series swap in a eg?
I'v got a d16z swap in my hatch now, and i have to say i love my ac. I used to have a ls swap in my old hatch but was told i couldn't have ac in it. is it possible to have a h/b/k series swap and still have ac?
B-series swap with A/C is downright easy, you simply use an A/C compressor bracket from a '94 - '97 Del Sol Vtec or '97 - '01 CR-V and reuse your old D-series compressor and everything else It can be done with an H22 but IIRC it requires using a custom bracket or lines, not sure about the K-series.
yea, b-series swaps can easily keep a/c. as stated you need a p7j a/c bracket (crv) and tensioner. then use almost any belt (crv, or em1 work best) and there you go. you can also look for the del sol si parts, b/c they are the same, well except that the del sol parts cost more. ive seen a h22 swapped eg with p/s and a/c but i have no clue how it done. k-series im sure would be the same as far as custom lines, brackets, etc.

As its already been stated, you can easily keep A/C with a B-Series into an EG. I have an LS in my EJ1 with A/C using the CR-V B20 bracket along with the CR-V belt and it works great.
you can run AC in a just about anything. its just a matter of getting the parts and doing the work. in otherwords, yes to all above and the parts you can get here http://www.hamotorsports.com/air-conditioning.html
