a 25/9/13 slick would help with the 60s you should be doing atleast a 1.7 also are you lauching under boost if so how much and also what rpms are you launching at. I would also look into a b16 trans the shorter gearing should help you out. if I'm wrong please let me know but we where running 11.8s with a b16 only making 338 in a heavy 00 civic si.

thanks for that
iam launching around the 5500k mark
with no anti lag or lauch control
i always thought longer ratios box were better for boost? just what everyone uses in the uk.
cheers kiel

Be the first to go with a b16 than you will be amazed...Launch it higher also I'm launching at around 8200k building around 14lbs of boost and dont be afraid to spin tires a but in first im hitting rev limiter about 3 or 4 times before slamming second and my 60fts are 1.649 just some wheel time load you clutch and have fun it will come to ya. what gear are you ending in at 1/4 and at what rpms im at the top of 4th around 8400k at the end

i agree to get some slicks and launch higher rpms.

im in the same situation as you are, going 12.1-12.3 at around 124 mph launching exactly at 5500 on my bfg drag radial tires. you need the slicks. good luck!

iam looking in to getting some tires now
but iam running 15inch wheels and cant go no smaller cause of my brakes!
now when you say 24.5/9/13
does the 13 mean rim size?
also what would be the best tires to get for 15inch wheels?
thanks kiel

1.6 60' is pretty good, you can still go lower on your tire pressure -- 6 psi or so is what we normally run on the MT 24.5" slick

I WOULD DEFFENITLY BRING YOUR PSI DOWN TO 6 OR 6.5 PLAY WITH IT A LITTLE SEE WHAT THE CAR LIKES. AND START GETTING USED TO YOUR BOOST BY GEAR IT WILL HELP YOU OUT SO MUCH. OR SHOP CAR FOR THE LONGEST TIME DIDNT HAVE IT AND WE WERE LEAVING THE LINE AT 36 PSI SPINNING THRU THIRD. NOW WE HAVE THE BOOST BY GEAR WE ARE LEAVEING AT AROUND 24 PSI PULLING 1.6 60FT AND TRAPPING AT OVER 150
