Default Autox/ DD Sway Setup

Hey guys im new to RSX's but not honda's....had an EK Civic. I have a 02 Type S now. I'm looking to set the car up for Autox but as of now mainly a DD. Looking at a lot of the setups offered for the DC5's i see a much wider range of sizes than what was offered for the EK Civics. What would be a good size to use for my setup? Ive been looking at the following:

ASR Subframe Brace and 32mm Sway Bar Kit (32mm seems ridiculous to me!!)
Progress Front (24mm) and Progress Rear (27mm)
Hotchkis 1" front and rear kit

Oh and to add to that....Do DC5's have any issues with subframe weakness when larger sway bars are added or the sways hitting the exhaust (have greddy Evo 2)? And I am going with GC Coilovers on Koni Yellows.

Any ideas, info, comments would be great! And i will keep researching. Thanks.

autoX is biult for classes.....stay in the stock class is you want to have a chance at doing well.....koni's, crash bolts, stickie tires...thats it....do not touch the rear sway or you are out of stock class...you could mess with a 05-06-type-s front sway...as for power....cat back is ok and you can use a k&n drop in filter....

For me it is not about what class I end up in...i just like to drive fun and autox. And its not about getting seat time because I like working on my cars as much as I do driving them...which is why I was trying to figure out where the next step was for me.

It won't be much fun when you have to compete against cars in a modified class. Keep it stock.

I don't think you guys are getting the point of what he is saying...

I believe that as long as he is getting to actively work on a project and he gets to race the car to see his improvements he doesn't care about how he places... (Am I right?)

OP: It sounds like you have a good setup in mind. I am glad you chose the Koni/GC combo. Great setup, affordable compared to other full coilover systems, and fully functional.

I have a Progress rear swaybar on my EP3 and I would recommend you get the most bad *** end links you can find. I have the Cor Sport units which are great for the price (mainly just because they work and the Honda end links were like $80 a piece) but they are quite noisy, especially on bumpy roads.

I know that my 22mm rear sway barely taps the exhaust at times. So I am sure there is a chance your 27mm would. I just wrapped the sway bar in silicone hose and then a small spark plug wire heat shield boot. Seems to be fine now. I don't have an RSX so I can't tell you too much about them. Hopefully this helps.
