how do you run civic lca's?...where do the endlinks attach?...i thought that they screw into the lca's (like the little threaded holes in the gsr's), not bolt into the holes in a dx lca. is that what you guys mean?

There are holes for the endlinks to attacth near the middle of the ek lca's and some kits like the suspention techniques sway kit actually attacth to the shock bolt so yeah.

The 96-00 Civic has factory mounts for a swaybar on the LCA. But you are required to use 99-00 Civic SI endlinks. Or you can use a kit such as the Suspension Techniques Swaybar kit, which bolts to your shock. It just so happens that I have one for sale!! Who'd a thunk it? lol. I have the rear bar and all necessary hardware and it has never been installed! It is a 19.05 mm bar and I will let it go for $100 shipped! Thanks! Rick

B16b2b,
Are talking about a front or rear sway bar setup? From what I understand, Integra rear LCAs will not work on an EK. The guys who have replyed are talking about the rear sway bar and I am getting the impression you need to know about the front sway bar. If the front gsr lcas fit on an EK (I don't know), you could probably use gsr endlinks. From what I know, to put a front sway bar on an EK you need 99-00 Si front lcas, strut forks, front sway bar, brackets bushings, and endlinks. I have no idea if gsr front suspension parts (sway bar, lcas) can be used on an EK.

On the REAR of an 96-00 Civic
ALL REAR LCA's are the SAME. All have holes for swaybars.
I recommend the Beaks kit or the Comptech setup. You probably can't go wrong with any of the other reinforcement kits out there either but I have been so happy with my Beaks kit that I have no reason to look at any other reinforcment product. But the Suspension Techniques does not have any reinforcement for your subframe.
I have seen a few posts about ST's tearing out of the subframe. I have not seen any such posts for reinforced setups that use the ITR swaybar as well as the Comptech setup.
My friend has the comptech setup on his car and his only complaint is that the swaybar slides left to right in the brackets. A couple of hose clamps can cure this though. Not sure if Comptech fixed this with the slightly different version they are selling now, which is adjustable BTW.
And if you don't consider yourself a better then average driver, I would not drive on the street with an ITR rear swaybar and no front swaybar.

i think that i will be able to tune the suspension around just running a rear gsr bar. ( firming up the front struts a tad..)

Mine worked fine. Maybe your washers are too thick.
