i have 1990 honda accord i put a new water pump and timing belt in it she ran great for 3 days then i was on the freeway and it kinda acted like it ran outa gas and spit and sputtered and died and when i try to start it now it spits sputters blows a little smoke but wont start if i step on the gas it will run for a second or 2 and die. ive checked the timing marks they all line up has gas in the tank and fresh tune up and replaced main relay
any ideas would greatly be appreciated thanks

 

Did you unplug any connectors during the repair that may have not gotten reconnected?

 

i triple checked and didnt see any unplugged

 

Spark, Fuel, Compression, Timing and Air. Which one are you missing?

 

yea i would do a compression check. also check again your timing belt. could of jumped a tooth. GL
