Default Question about my ODB0 Head with odb1 engine build

i'm doing an ls/vtec and i just bought a jdm b16a head with intake manifold from a guy stamped pr3-1 and says it's from the year 1989 which is ODB0. My ls block that I have is bare but plan to use ODB1 sensors and a p28 with hondata s300. do I have to change all of the sensor on my head and intake manifold for it to work?

any help would be appreciated

The head castings are all the same no matter what year it was made. If your car is Obd 1, then you need to run an OBD1 distributor, the other sensors should be pretty standard, just match your wiring harness to the sensors and distributor being used.

ok thanks, so my engine harness would have to be OBD0 and splice part of it to work with my distributor? sorry if i sounds dumb.

no. If your car is already OBD1, all you have to really do is run an OBD1 distributor and plug the rest of your wiring harness into their respective sensors. Everything should be mostly plug and play especially if your car is already OBD1, then it should be easy.
