TW: '94 Del Sol Si, B20b swap w/ GSR tranny, ITR Front Brakes, A/C
**Edit for price, car will be gone by today $2700 OBO
Looking to sell my DD as I'm joining the USMC and won't need a car for a couple of months. Looking to get $2700 obo.
Here's the rundown:
1994 Honda Del Sol Si
~205k miles, ~50k miles on B20b swap from Hmotors, A/C works!
-Integra front spindles, new upper and lower ball joints
-11" Fastbrakes ITR rotors (4 lug) and ITR calipers
-15/16ths Master Cylinder (from '91 civic wagon, I think...)
-H&R Sport spings all around, ~10k miles on rear tokico blues (stock rears were cooked when I got the car), fronts are stock from 1999 Civic.
-Blox rear LCA's (~10k, stock ones were destroyed while attempting to remove rear lower shock bolt), ~10k miles on new OEM rear trailing arm bushings.
-~10k miles on 15" slips w/ Yokohama S. drives
-~10k miles on new stock axleback, "newish" midpipe, car also has a testpipe fitted (cat was thoroughly rusted onto the equally rusty/full of holes midpipe)
-Older Alpine CD Player with IPod dock hookup
The Bad:
-The paint on the hood and the targa is pretty bad, also the trunk lid has a little rust where the wing used to be (there is also a little spot of rust on drivers side rocker panel)
-The PS pump went out a few months ago and I haven't got around to replacing it (everything is still there), steering is pretty heavy about what you'd assume in a non PS car.
-As I'm sure is common with Sols and cars of this age in general, it rattles and shakes over bumps and this can get rather annoying (top has already been tightened), there is also an interior rattle that I can't quite pinpoint
-Ebay header, has worked well for my DD of the last year but I see how this could be a problem for some
-Testpipe means this car will not pass inspection, but wasn't an issue being in SC!
-Interior has seen better days, seats are pretty rough as well as the door panels.
*Overall the car drives well, has decent power with GSR tranny, gets decent MPG (~30), doesnt leak from the targa top, the ride isn't too harsh, and most importantly it has working AC! Some paint and a little TLC would make this car perfect. I know I'm not going to get my money back out of this thing, but some money is better than no money.
I'll have pictures up later this afternoon.
*Update for Pics*
