b18b1 compression
i swaped my 95 hatch with a b18b1 and after getting it ready to fire, it wouldnt start.... so i did a compression test and it went 120-75-75-75 (dry)
so i put alittle oil in the cylinders and it went up to about 180 across, so that means the rings are bad.. i reringed and honed it, and compression is still very bad when i do a dry test but does go up a bit on a wet test... when i did the wet test one cylinder went up to about 200psi then the gauge dropped to 0 and would not build back up..... would a bad head gasket have the same signs as bad rings? what more could it be?
