So let me get this straight...
1) you're interested in having a car to "race".
2) Your options: an AWD factory boosted sports sedan vs a fwd econo-sedan/coupe/hatch... ???
3) You "like the cabability of the Evo being able to drift"
We're not trying to make fun of you, but just take a minute to think about what you're saying here. Alright now that you've hopefully taken a moment to rethink this, I have some questions in relation to the aforementioned...
1) What kind of racing are you interested in?
2) Which models are you interested in and HOW on earth did you manage to narrow down your choices to "EVO or Civic"? Seriously, that's like someone saying, "Hey, I want a truck! So should I get an SRT-10 Ram or an X-Runner?" Both decent vehicles, but they are completely different. And besides, "wanting a truck" we don't know how the hell the person managed to narrow it down to those choices. Once again, COMPLETELY different trucks... and the same goes for the Evo and the Civic.
3) WTF? Drifting? Really?

Given the source, every question you ask will be stupid.
Just google the two cars, I'm sure you will get way more information than you could process that way.
