Default OBD2a Civic, OBD2b Si engine, OBDI P72 ECU: Need help with wire harness

i really appreciate any input...

i have a 98 civic that is obd2a but i recently put a b16 from a 00 si and i got the engine with complete harness. i have a p72 ecu from 94 integra gsr and i also bought the obd2b to obd1 jumper so i can use the original b16 harness so i dont have all kinds of hacked wires.. now my problem is that on the si harness there are only 2 plugs that go into the ecu, plug b and c. however the jumper has a spot for 3 plugs and also the gsr ecu does as well. why does the 99-00 si harness only have 2 plugs. what happen 2 the 3rd plug. NOTHING WAS CUT FROM HARNESS!

the 3rd plug is part of the cabin harness on '99 - '00 models, its part of the engine harness on '96 - '98 models, the engine harness must match the cabin harness.

This is correct ^^

Two plugs from the engine harness will plug into one end of your jumper harness. One plug from your dash harness will plug into the other empty plug on the jumper harness.
