Default Turning on 4th gen ...having problems

I put my key, press the clutch in, and there is about a 3-4 second stall before my motor turns on. Sometimes, it doesn't even turn on so I need to take the key out, press the clutch a couple of times, and then do the whole process over again to start my motor. After my car is warm though, it has no problems. I live in pretty warm conditions though, so I don't know what is the problem. Any ideas guys???

Thanks!!!

Sounds like a possible faulty ignition switch. But when you stated that it works fine when the car is warm leads me to believe possible starter probs. I guess I would have to be there to properly diagnose it but those would be my first two guesses.
