Default Burning smell coming from passenger side window HELP!

So here's the story:
I was driving my gf to class in her 2002 sedan when we noticed a burning smell coming from the passenger side window area after she had rolled down her automatic windows. After I dropped her off, I found that I wasn't able to roll up her window anymore. I began the daunting task of trying to fix the problem.

1st: I checked all the fuses first and found that they were all ok.

2nd: I replaced her window regulator and the window automatically closed by itself without me touching the switch.

3rd: Thinking the switch was bad, I purchased another switch, however I arrived at the same problem, and I am not able to roll down the window.

CLIFFNOTES:
As of now, I have fuses under the kick panel which are all fine, a new window regulator, and a new switch installed, however the window WILL NOT roll down.

Can anyone please point me in the right direction as to what I may have missed as far as checking/replacing parts???

Thanks in advanced to anyone who can help me out!

Did you check the switch on the driver side?

Did you check the wiring for any melting?

i had the EXACT same problem and honda misdiagnosed it. try changing the driver side switch. that's the master switch so it overrides everything. if u changed the passenger side and regulator and that didn't work then try to change the driver side switch. see what happens and hopefully this will spare u money on fixing it. Good luck.

Haven't done this yet. Looks like this is going to be my next step. Thank you.

I didn't know the driver was the master switch. Thanks for pointing this out.
