Im guessing you mean knock sensor. Is the car already tuned? Adding a wideband just reads out the air fuel ratio

Do you know how to tune a car? No one know what your abilities are, when it comes to tuning, so you're asking a pretty open ended question here.

Generally speaking, a professional tuner will tune idle and wide open throttle only. They do not bother spending hours upon hours fine tuning the midrange and mid throttle for peak performance and/or fuel efficiency.

We generally pre-tune (street tune) a car. We will spend about 3-4 hours driving around getting the midrange and mid throttle cleaned up as best we can using a wideband and crome tuning software. Then we send the car to get the peak numbers in WOT pulled from our professional tuner.

In my opinion, you need both.

When a professional tuner tunes his OWN car. Is he a self tuner? Hmmm.
