Default Question about LS heads......

The motor I had in the teg before was stamped PR4-8 on the head and the new motor that is in there now is a PR4-6. What be the difference if any between the two. Also, the gentleman I purchased the motor from said it came from a 93. If that is the case then should I stop running the P75 ecu and switch over to the pr4 ecu?

Thanks,

Nate

Ill have to check in a minute...... I dont understand what is wrong with it either, it is blowing blue smoke like crazy even at an idle. The motor is supposed to have only 45xxx. He said it was pulled from a wrecked 93 auto, it was his 75 year old grandpa's who owned it since the dealer and rarely drove it. It also sustains a high idle (1500) with no surge. I was pulling 5 codes from the ecu last week after the install. But now thank god, i have worked on it some and now I am only pulling one (ect). I am also confused as to why after 3k it falls on its face hard. feels like a single cam with one good axle? (no offense to single cammers). We ran a comp test and pulled 200's and 205's across the board.
