Default ok , an LS ECU on my DX/SI hybrid motor.. will it hurt ?

i have a 93 CX hatch.. i took off the 8V head and put a 93 DX head on the block with an 88-91 SI intake mani and TB and a VEnom fuel rail..i have intake and exhaust too.. my question is i have an ECU from an auto DX which makes the redline a lil lower than a normal DX 5 spd should be . but i also have a 90-91 LS ECU (pr4) and the redline is 7200 RPMs . will it hurt my engine to run it with this ECU ? all i notice when i put it in is the idle goes up to like 2K .. but maybe i can turn it down with the mani screw?

fuel maps on the auto and 5spd are the same. eitehr way you can have it convert it to 5spd i matter of minutes.

90-1 LS ECu will not work, but a 92-3 will work (OBDI). so will 94-5 P75. other choices are the JDM counter parts P54 and P29.

idle is most likely due to a vacum leak or unbled cooling system. check the TB gasket also try to adjust it as well (on the TB there is a screw which can be turned)

well how do i convert the auto DX ecu to a 5 SPD ? also the dx ecu idles at like 800rpms.. too low.. but the Pr4 idles at like 2K rpms .. too high.. i tried to turn that screw but its stuck.. so i can just adjust the throttle cable.. but will the pr4 have any beifits in my car?
