Car Bucks while cruising...
my ls eg has had a weird issue thats been happening lately where if i am maintaing speed in any gear it will buck ... it never happens while i am accelerating .... it also is happening when i put it into second sometimes
its hard to describe whats happening... ususally when im in say 4th gear and i start to let the pedal go and speed starts to drop you can usually feel it somewhat but when it bucks it so much more pronounced and feels like the car is jerking around.
My guess is something to do with the clutch not engaging properly or throttle cable. I checked the throttle cable visually and its newer and doesnt have any kinks or anything in it. The weird part is that it only happens sometimes but when it does it is very noticeable. I have a GSR cable trans with a hydro conversion kit so i was thinking that might be the issue or the clutch might have to be adjusted.
Appreciate any thoughts on the subject

my zc would do this every once and awhile, but it was only if I was rolling slow with the clutch down. I always just thought it was because my car doesnt like to go slow
Had the same problem with my 93 eg.
Swapped to a known good TPS but still happened. Turned out to be a problem in the wiring harness.
Test procedure is in a Chiltons manual. Should show a steady change as it is moved.

I cleaned my IAC and it helped. Do you notice that it happens more when you do a cold start and take off right away? Mine was way worse then but if I let it warm up a bit it doesn't happen.
I had a similar problem with my D16Y8 and it turned out i had a small vacumm leak that was causing it, so you may want to check all your lines while your in there just to be sure.
im having the same problem i was told that it was a vacum leak or tps sensor but wouldnt the sensor throw a code? im not throwing any codes. soim leaning towards the leak but idk how i would test that out
Easiest way to see if you have a leak is to take off your intake and put your hand over the throttle body while the car is running. If it dies there is no leak, but if it continues to run there is a leak somewhere. If you do happen to have one try listening for a whistling noise around the engine thats how i found mine.
