your clutch is not properly engaging/disengaging.....do you have pressure on the pedal? how old is the clutch? is the slave cylinder bolted in with 2 bolts?(yes people try to half *** it and only put one in) have to confirmed the the slave cylinder is actually pushing on the "fork" that goes into the trans? when in neutral do you hear a humming/almost grinding?(could indicated bad throw out bearing)

i would say your clutch is in need of replacing and has little to no material left on it but without all the specifics can be 100%...after your last post im leaning 95% toward clutch as we have taken a pressure issue out of the equation

okay so i got some new updates. the car shifts perfectly now and drives pretty sure it was just the tranny fluid. but now my car is making a grinding noise when it moves forward, could this be the cause of an improperly installed axle??

If the clutch had no material left, then it would be slipping while driving. His symptoms coincide with the clutch not disengaging completely. Tranny fluid has nothing to do with this. It seems like you have a problem in the hydraulic system (master/slave cylinders).

okay so i took it for a test drive to my friends to drop the tranny and it shifted perfectly so i no longer need to drop it, however this ONLY happens when i take off for about 2 seconds until the car gets rolling it makes a grinding noise?

sounds like you fried the main shaft bearing from inside the tranny, cuz you ran it without fluid.
