Installed ITR suspension in my EG, rear is bouncy
I have a 92 civic si hb.
I installed ITR suspension with less than 10000kms on it. This was the shocks and springs.
It lowered the car around 3/8"-1/2" all the way around.
I have the itr front swaybar to be installed. I'm also going to get a rear itr swaybar/ subframe brace.
I installed the front ITR shocks/springs first and drove it for a bit. Nice improvement, doesn't "float" anymore, still smooth over bumps and railrod tracks. Not bouncy at all.
Today I installed the rear ITR shocks/springs. The ride is bouncy now. It's really weird. It almost made me want to puke from all the bouncing up and down haha.
I torqued the lca bolts with the car in the air. I'm going to loosen them and re-torque them on the ground to see if it helps at all. Maybe the bushings were preloaded too much and not allow the shocks/springs to do their thing.
NOTE: installing the itr rear springs on the itr shocks using my civic si tophats I didn't need to use a spring compressor. Is this normal???
Any ideas? Will the itr swaybars get rid of any of the rear bounce?
