1996 civic coupe gauge cluster.

My friend is buying a 1996 coupe and it's a dx model and doesn't have a tach, if he buys a cluster with a tach is it just plug and play?

Yes I just did it, also you can swap out the speedometer very easily to retain mileage. You can even use an automatic cluster as well.
