Questions about adding auto start
ok, i have been search around as well as reading my alarms instructions about doing auto start but i just cant figure it out.
The Alarm is a Clifford Matrix 3.3x 2 way.
The Car is a 98 civic dx and is a auto.
What i figured out so far is the,
The blue wire is Status - 200ma output
Pink is igniton1 -200ma output
Violet is starter -200ma output
orange is accssory
and pink with white stripe is something?
It would be great if someone can shead some light on how to install it, and where i might be able to find the wires to connect to the wires from the alarm. Any help would be great.
Thank you in advance.

BUMP It seems that I got a little confused.
The wires/colors i listed are for remote start output.
While looking again last night i found these.
Black\white stripe neutral safety
Violet/white stripe tach input
Brown-brake shut down
Gray hood pin.
Blue/white stripe which is 2nd remote start status/ defogger.
All wires are in a 5pin plug
I have been reading the book let a little more and looking around on the net. If anyone could help me figure this out it would be great.
Also, is the wires/plug i listed in the first post still needed?

it says the wires in the first post are the (-) output. is that the small gauge wires??? those typically aren't used. only the heavy gauge (+) output wires of matching color.
Yes, your correct.
I looked at it, and I saw that. They are also all output.
While looking around I also noticed there is a 10 pin heavy gauge pin, that im thinking is already in my car, becuase I don't have it.
I found something on 12volt source but its confusing.
Sorry im a noob when it comes to alarms

Violet/white- connect to tach wire. you dont have to, but when remote starting the car...it will be more reliable when starting. you have to program the tach signal too.
Brown- connect to brake switch. the correct brake wire will show (+) positive when the brake pedal is pressed.
Gray- its for the hood pin. for this to work, you gotta install the hood pin. basically, when the hood is opened...the engine will shut off. do you need this? no, but you can do it.
Blue/white stripe- you dont need to hook it up.
hmm thank you.
I do think i will be hooking up the hood pin, i have had someone try to/do pop my hood, and i would like to know if someone does.
So thats it, besides learning the tach signal?, which looks so easy a monkey could do it.

the only thing i can think of is when it was installed originally, the installer might not have hooked up accessory in the heavy gauge harness because it's not used for a normal alarm install. might have to check the orange wire at the ignition harness.

Ok, ill check that out and post the results.
Where would that wire go on the ignition harness? Or is it just a match the colors type of thing?
Thank you for the help!

no, i can't remember off the top of my head, but somewhere between the key cylinder and the fuse box will be where they tied in for power and ignition, and hopefully the orange wire will be tied in to the acc wire.
This is what is not corrently connected but is there.
Pink/black stripe- Flex relay contact 87a, igniton 2
Red 12+ volt constant- 30amp Ignition 1
Red/white stripe- fused 30amp 87 of Rs Flex relay
Red/black stripe Fused 30amp accessory starter relay
Orange- accessory output
Pink/white stripe= Flex relay output.
After reading a little bit, it looks as if only the red +12, red/white stripe,red/black stripe are needed. Im not sure about the orange wire. The pink/black and pink/white look to be both for a ignition 2, Which i dont know what that is.
These are all on the 10pin h3 harness with 9 wires.

Ok, so i have been digging around a little more and have found this
This is off the 10pin
Red, Red/black and Red/white go to the white 12volt+ in car, on igntion harness
The Orange will go to the yellow ignition wire in car.
Off 5 pin
Blue/white-dont need
Gray-hood pin
brown- brake goes to Green/white in car
Violet/white- Tach wire
Black/white- Ground
Does this look correct? Am i missing anything?
Most of this has come from googling things and the12volt.com

One other thing, i have a door lock acuuator. It is 2 wire, and i have been looking around and came to the conclusion all i need to do is run the green and blue from alarm to the 2 actuators? No reallys or anything?
Thank you very much for the help, anyone else have anything to add or advice?

yes you will need relays. easiest thing is to get a DEI 451m. it plugs right into your alarm brain and that controls the relays. then just plug into 12v+ power for violet & violet/black, ground white/black and brown/black, and then you have high current blue/black and green/black to goto your actuators
