does my dash need to be in for the motor to get fuel?

 

if the harness is all their and connected the dash dont matter, check for power and ground at the pump if both check good replace the pump. if 1 of those doesnt check out its probably a loose pin somewhere or a broken wire.

 

Check for blown main relay fuses, resolder the main relay, and check whether the G101 thermostat housing ground is clean and tight.
