I live in Milwaukee, WI and went to the Brewers baseball game yesterday afternoon between 12:30- 4:40 and came back and car was gone. Parked in a Target along Miller Parkway where other people were carpooling also. This is pretty damn shitty, almost had the car where I wanted and this crap happens.

It is an 00 EK red with Bronze Rota slipstreams and otherwise stock looking civic. It was a 2dr EX also. Had K24a2 w/ RSX-S 6-spd. Had an S-2000 steering wheel too.

It may have headed down to Chicago too.

I have no faith in humanity when this happens right next to a busy road during busy business hours... there were a ton of people around or driving by.

you also should keep a close eye on craigslist and ebay for anyone selling your parts.
If you do get your stuff back its a good idea to have your insurance company appraise your car so all your parts can be covered. it costs more per month obviously, but its worth it in the long run.

If I had a swap I'd get 2 , one for the clutch pedal and one for the brake pedal

They'd have to tow it or roll it away

 

No mater where I go with my ek coupe I take my steering wheel and ecu and put it unit my girls purse! She hates me sometimes! Lol. But hey anything to keep my baby safe! But I know even that wont stop them completly!

Sucks cause I now live in a good neighborhood and kept her in the garage.

Well, my car did not show up to my surprise...
I am now fighting with insurance and could use some help from ya'll out there trying to find k swaps for sale to show em how much they go for.... looking for comparables!!

What I am looking for is an online ad for a any 96-00 EK K swap with a K20a2 or K24a2 like I had. I also had the suspension, brakes, traction bar, rims/ tires totally redone for autoX set up. But I will take any comparables.

I will take anything you guys find, no matter the price or location. I would perfer an ad here in the midwest, but obviously I am not picky.

Thanks in advance for everyone's help, it is appreciated and hopefully I can get something decent with the insurance money, but need the comparables to help my cause.

wow damn dude... that sucks *****! ... i hope the best for you and wishes all good for you from stockton CA. u know where i live have high stolen rates for hondas so my friend knows how to jack cars like a professional(not that i affiliate with his activities, i just know him), is going to put a almost full proof security on my car onece its done.

Why not just call a honda dealership and ask them to do a quote for a new K24 engine. Then get quotes from 3-4 shops in the area for swapping it into your car. Should be more than enough for the insurance to go on.
