i wired in my amp and sub today in my 95 civic dx and now my fuel gauge has not moved off 1/8th off full and i have 124 miles on the tank. umm i dont know much about hondas but its that right or did i mess something up by grounding the amp to the spare tire floor.. any ideas of what happened. or does this car get 60+ miles to the gallon

 

Did you screw into any wires? A dx should get good gas mileages

 

no i made sure i was not gonna hit any wires. the bolt went straight threw the floor and then i noticed later on in the day that i had 100+ miles and the gauge was only down 1/8th the way. this morning i was at 60ish miles and the needle was in the same place and still is in the same place. id go fill my tank up just to make sure how much is actually in there but im broke.

 

Fill it up and see what it does. Could be a bad sending unit.
