How To Know if The Timming Belt Been Replaced?
I don't know if the previous owner had The Timing Belt changed? Any easy way to check to see if it's good or not?
Thanks

Pull off the covers and inspect it?
If you honestly don't know I would suggest just having it replaced. Peace of mind is better than bent valves.

Most good mechanics/shops would write the mileage on the timing cover with a white or yellow paint pen. If you don't see anything written around the timing belt cover that looks like mileage or you don't have any records. I would agree with TheMuffinMan and say replace it anyway.
Thank you ... I stopped by the Honda Service to request for the History Report:

Although the owner had a good service record but I don't see any Timing Belt replacement, the Honda Service also said it never been done at his shop at the time interval. The owner told me she also had a second service shop, I will check out, or call her if T/B ever changed. I'll check under hood too.
Anyone know a good source How to replace T/B on a V6? I have a good video on 4-cyl. They're similar? Any sources in this forum? I want to know what tools and what parts needs. I need everything ready before rolling up my sleeves.
Many Thanks in advance for your help

i would agree witht he guys... just replace it... when i got my accord about 2 months ago i tuned it up... replaced the water pump and all the belts along with a fresh oil change and radiator flush... and next weekend i get home ill change the transmition fluid, spark plugs and check the wires and then clean it up a bit
What year? Do you have one of the 98-02 V6 or 95-97 V6?
You may want to invest in a Helms manual for the car, relatively cheap and shows you how to do all the maintenance items and more.

Thank You All - I just come to the other service and learn that they did replace TB and WP 5 yrs ago @ 87,000 miles. I think I will be OK for while. I will save your information for future use.

The belts should be replaced every 60k miles or 60 months (5 years) which ever comes first. I would say your due for a change.
I listened to you, I believed I have plenty of time before the due. I just look at the engine, it's so tied. Things I'm worry is breaking the nuts or bolts. I saw a video the guy torch the bolt and use air wrench... Now I'm very relieved because the TB had been replaced at some points. D.T
No offense here but you believe that you have plenty of time and Honda America thinks that it's time to be replaced. I'm siding with Honda on this one. Specially when that invoice is pretty much exactly 5 years old.
In saying that, what is the weather/climate like where you live? That plays a pretty big part in when they should be changed as well. Extreme heat or cold, and dry, dusty climates can speed up the requirements for belt changes.
