Norcal Group EF Build for Speed Channel- Pinks?
My father is a speed fanatic, and he is always watching the Show on Speed Channel, Pinks. Saying that "This is proof that old school muscle is the best and imports are inferior and blah blah blah...."
So i would love to build up an EF that would hold its own on pinks (or Pinks all out)
I have a buddy with an 89 CRX Si That has a full cage, fiberglass front end, tube chassis, set up for a straight axle in the rear.
I can get the shell for a good price, And with it being so light , and already loaded with a cage, it wouldn't be too hard of a project. (I think)
Just a thought if anyone was interested, the whole build would be photographed and up here on Honda-Tech.
And the goal would not be for the money, because I'm thinking donate it all to charity or something.
Just to build an import that will hold its own against the old school American Muscle!
What do you guys think?

I think Tony Palo (T1) already smoked an american muscle car on Pinks a while back. The video is on youtube.

The thing that bugs me about that show is that, it's more dependent on the skill of the negotiator and the driver's ability to sandbag (not go fast), than it is the quality of the car.
I understand the need to handicap two unequal cars, but they should pit more equal cars together in the first place.
