where does the catalytic converter attach to? do i have to custom add it onto the tail pipe? or replace the ex manifold?
i need to pass emissions! someone help!

i have a 1997 ek hatchback bought new tail pipes for it because the guy had a welded straight pipe in the end.

 

the o2 should be right on top of the exhaust headers and one right at the elbow pipe

 

the stock headers should have a cat on it

 

yeah it didnt look like it had one on it but the o2 sensors are there... mannn this is confusing haha maybe its hiding behind the shield?

 

i bought the motor from hmotorsonline

 

there should be a hole on the heat shield where the o2 goes through... if it doesnt check below.. if not check belo the engine.. if not than... how u run ur car with no check engine light if u didnt know where to plug the o2 sensors

 

what...? noo i know where the o2 sensors plug in but i dont know where the catalytic converter goes on the d15b because doesnt it usually go right after the exhaust manifold?

where the 02 sensor is is that where the catalytic converter is? i cant really tell...but maybe im just blind.

 

get a cat and intermediate pipe for a '96 - '00 EX coupe, 100% bolt on fit, no cutting, no welding.
