Usually when people say "2 step" they mean launch control.
You can use a launch control in various softwares such as Hondata, Neptune, eCtune & crome.
Hondata pricing varies on which system you buy. For more information on hondata products check out hondata.com

Crome has a free Version that is run by burning chips. Never used crome pro so not sure about that. For Neptune it comes as a RTP board. It is installed to where the chip would be located.
The Hondata is a chipped OBD1 ECU with their unit plugged into it. Just like the Neptune Demon and eCtune Demon are also chipped OBD1 ECUs with their units plugged in. They are all real time programmable (RTP).
If your not going to be tuning your car yourself and you are going to have it tuned. You would be better off contacting your tuner and asking them what software they use before you go spending your money on hardware & software. Also probably be a good idea to ask them if they chip ECUs, and if so, how much they charge. Then you can shop around. You may be able to get one online cheaper and bring it with you.
