Just wondering if anyone goes up there for their track days or AutoX days.

Ive been thinking about starting to AutoX again and wanted to get some opinions on their track....

Also there is a huge event on Sept. 11th that im wondering if anyone is going to? They are having AutoX, 8th mile drags, drifting, gymkahna, and a car show. It sounds like its going to be really fun.

Ill be driving up in the morning from Pittsburgh to hang out up there all day if anyone would like to roll up along with me.

I was only there in 2003 and 2004. Nice, modern and safe track with lots of runoff everywhere. Great group running the place, too.

I spoke with a guy that helps run the place back in february and he seemed pretty cool. Just wanted to get some outside opinions.

 

There aren't a lot of outside groups that rent it out anymore due to (I think) complications with management at one point. Consequently, most of the HPDE days are run BY the BeaveRun management.

I know there a number of Pittsburgh locals who frequent it for open/test 'n tune days, and I have fond memories of the place. Haven't been there since '04 either though I think.

what, no road racing!?....

 

No unfortunatly it doesnt look like they are really doing any road racing, which really sucks!
