hahaha, I overlayed an old dynoplot of mine against that persons JRSC and the JUN motor. Notice how I tuned the car for top end power ONLY since I was dragracing at that time.

similar setup to the JRSC car you did.
My Engine Setup:
JRSC @8psi
comptech intake
kamakaze header
test pipe
thermal exhaust
ti-retainers
J&S safeguard
Custom Dynospot Racing ECU
RC 440cc injectors
B&M commandFlo
stock fuel pump
stock flywheel
ACT cluctch
stock tranny
stock R 15" rims with A032R's, PS and A/C installed and connected.

Currently the setup/tuning has changed slightly so the power is around 270whp.

Look at that torque curve in the JRSC'd cars engine.

Nice. More power for half the money.

Because the blower is sitting in between the intake and the head. It muffles the intake honk that Hondas are known for.

Turbos have a similar effect on the exhaust side.

How would less torque and hp at every point in the rpm band be more fun to drive? I'm not saying a nicely done up NA car isn't fun, but more is always better.

here's the part that i don't get:

this is from Mike K's sig: 1998 Integra Type R #1087
Mods:
Topspeed ported cylinder head, milled .0012" (11.15:1 CR)
Toda Header w/ 2.25" test pipe
01 ITR intake cam, 98 ITR exhaust cam
OBD1 Skunk2 ECU and A'PEXi V-AFC
Comptech Icebox w/ Comptech air filter
Spoon flywheel and Exedy organic clutch
ITR trans w/ ATS 3-4-5 gearset
STOCK bottom end, STOCK exhaust and muffler!
192.4hp/134.8tq at the wheels

canuck has 204 wheel HP, 134 ft/lb GSR w/built Jun 3 head and 12:1, Hondata Tuned, w/good manifolding/exhaust.

siinsi has 205.7 hp / 137.4 tq w/ Jun 3s, Stock JDM ITR Bottom, Jun ECU, good manifolding/exhaust.

Erick's Racing built this:
http://www.geocities.com/dynocenter/...C5_ericks.html
1997 B18C5 Motor (USDM Integra Type-R Motor)
68mm Throttle Body Ported & Polished Head
Spoon Cams
Titanium Retainers
Valvespring Upgrade
Civic Type-R Pistons
JDM ITR 4-1 header
2.5" custom exhaust
Erick's custom ECU
213hp/146.3tq

i don't know if miguel (siinsi) still has 11:1 compression, but it seems like with cams as big as Jun 3s, that 1 full point of compression would make more torque on canuck's setup; i'd think that hondata can be better tuned (on the car) than a "shelf" Jun ecu, unless the Jun header is that much better than the ITR 4-1. i don't want to start any flames, as everyone listed has a great setup. my reason for posting is that i am working on mine now, and i am trying to decide between spoon cams, and skunk2 stage2s, both which i have. i also have the jun header, 12:1 compression, and will tune with hondata.

That is basically what it feels like. There is torque downlow, but when 6000 comes around (and it comes around fast), its like "Oh ****", and then it pulls like crazy.

Anyone that I let drive the car is gauranteed to hit the revlimiter (9200 rpm) in first. That is how quickly it pulls

There are variations in each setup, also, each dyno will read differently as the cars were dynoed under different conditions. I dynoed on a mustang dyno also, where as most other people use dynojets which read a little higher
