Car was running well and parked it. Went out the next day and it won't start.

Car is turning over and the battery/ground connections seem good.
Checked for spark, and i'm getting a weak orangy spark. What could be wrong?

Assuming the plugs and wires are good, do I need a new distributor? If a distributor is bad, would I get any spark at all?

 

Weak spark is generally the sign of a bad coil inside the distributor.

 

Ohm test the coil.

Changed the whole distributor and it's running like a champ. Thanks everyone.
