I clicked on the link and they aren't taking complaints for your shitty asking price. They seem to be taking something else in a very uncomfortable place.

Ha. J/k. Bump for you.

I thought the link thing was hilarous, but it has been made clear that that was inappropriate thing to do so they are changed....

Black, jams are black, so easy to spray back to black

More pics tomorrow for sure and this time I will remember the engine bay

Sorry to be a newb, but I am not familar with the HX. I know it has a variable trans setting, but it is basically a DX? I need something with power steering and A/C cause it is for the gf so Id really like a EX but send some pics if you want.

The hx is supposed to have the cv trans in it, however that trans has been replaced with a standard automatic just shortly after i got the car. It has power windows, power steering, ac works(could be recharged but it blows decently), tilt wheel, no cruise though or sunroof. So its more like an ex now minus cruise and sunroof. We also just put all brand new brakes on the car. Ill try to get some pics sometime today.

Is the color too much should I get it sprayed back to black?

It's not the color as much as the lack of gloss. Preludes just don't really look good in matte.

Just some constructive criticism. I have no intentions of being offensive.

Actually, if it weren't matte, I'd trade you my Del sol in a heartbeat. I happen to be looking for a Prelude.

Well I do apprecite the advice.

Really though you could get it cleared at Macco for like $200 and I know alot of people say they arent the best, but really if you think about it they paint alot alot of cars so they are probably pretty good with spraying, but the reason it doesnt last is cheap paint and low prep work, not really anything to do with the craftsmanship.

I mean understand because when I saw this car at first I didnt want to buy cause of the color, but since the jams were black and it was original H22 I did.

But if someone came to me and that was their only complaint I would think we could work it out in the price =D

Lol, this thread went a long time without a hater, I wish I would have left that link connected to the gay **** site, lol.

I don't understand why people need to hate so much, especially on a site like this that is suppose to be a community of people with a common hobby helping each.
Also, in a case like this if you really thought the car was that horrible why waste the time to even type a comment about it?

I did not do the paint, but it is not rattle canned, it was sprayed with a HVLP gun.

As far as the quarter sized rust spot, if you know where a 4th Gen Prelude without any rust is please leave the link here because I have some friends looking for one, a white shell specifially.

Ill admit the paint is not the most attractive color, but the interior is quite nice, save one tear on the drivers seat it is very nice, or atleast in the 3 months it took me to find this I didnt find a nicer one, save that one rare once in awhile one that the person wants like $6k for.

Actually, out of curiosity, are you at all interested in a Del sol? It's not automatic though...

I was thinking about this for awhile and figured I could respray this myself if you're interested in a trade.
