Hey guys i have a d16y7 and was looking to do a mini me swap. Do you all think 130,000 miles on a z6 head is too many to swap onto my motor. My motor currently has 114k miles if it has any effect on your awnsers. Thanks

 

It should run fine. However I would try to find one with lower miles. It would be worth it to pay a little more (just make sure you get it from a reliable source) because once you get one with higher miles, things are bound to break. I wouldn't recommend resurfacing the head at all since it's aluminum and will never be the same (OEM-like).

 

What about a head with 96k thats been ported and polished? Also is it possible to use a d16y8 intake manifold with a d16z6 head?
