Suspension Suggestions for 6th Gen Accord? Or anybody have one FS?
Man has it be a while since I visited the best place in the world [ talking about this forum of course
]. Last time I was here, I had a turbo 96 Integra LS.
Anyway, on to a more important and the reason why I am back.
I just picked up a '99 4DR Accord LS. The car rides a little "bouncy" - it does have an aftermarket suspension but according to the guy the suspension was actually from a different honda [ something smaller than accord - civic or something ]. I don't know if those can be interchanged - guy could be wrong. Last time I was in a "bouncy" honda, it was due to bad lower tie bar?
So, I am in the search for a suspension setup. I like a "flush" look and would like to lower it enough to have that. I am noob when it comes to suspension. It would be great to have nice camber [ if I just made up a word, I am talking about when the wheel looks like it's a little angled ]. Or just a flush setup like : http://i38.tinypic.com/mj07j4.jpg
Anyway, any direction on this would be appreciated. ebay has about 20 different setups under $1k for an accord. If I can get away with a cheaper brand that does a good job, would be extremely happy. Or if somebody has one for sale, I'd be interested in chatting.
If I am starting a topic that has already been started, I apologize. I did a quick search and didn't find much. May be I am too excited to be back in the honda game?

Cheap suspension is not good suspension, regardless of what anyone tells you.
Read the suspension FAQ thread as well as the suspension section threads on the different brands.
Buy reputable and buy it for your chassis and you'll be fine.

Thanks man, I will read through those. This should probably be moved to a Suspension area then. I wonder if I can do so myself.
I have typed in "Accord" in suspension forum. Very few things come up especially for the year the on I have.
Moderator : Please delete this thread, I will restart it in the Suspension section.

Well no reason to close this one down, the Suspension stuff has mostly general information (for brands/setup combos/etc)
The Accord section has the FAQ with accord specific user setups
