I want to get a short shifter adapter... does anyone have 1? is it worth geting 1? ne probelms etc..

 

don't get B&M coz there's clearance problems with the center shift console thingy.
i think ppl have so-called good experiences with neuspeed or DC.
imho, i don't think it's worth the mod coz the shift throws are only slightly decreased.
check the other post, some dude has a 'complete' mod and it's not juss a adapter thingy.
be weary the clearance issue with the adapters.

 

with the adapters you have to cut a few peices of plastic on the inside of your center console and its not really a big deal.. i think a short throw shifter does alot of difference but maybe thats just me.. the neuspeed one is nice but its 70$ and all it is, is an adapter that raises the hight that one of the rods mount on the shifter.. im actualy thinking of making a copy or similar model "wink wink" and selling it for half the price

 

i love my neuspeed shrot shifter, but it is just a peice of metal.

 

i have the highly sought after c's short shifter in my car. the only true complete replacement for the prelude i believe. no cutting of the console either!
