Default Boost + IAT question

I just boosted my Si with a GSR block and Type R head, AEBS intake manifold and its showing a code for the Intake Air Temperature Sensor..My question; is it the sensor located on top of the intake manifold or the sensor that was taken out of the intake by the throttle body??

And also whats the best way to fix it and or splice it? (if its the sensor removed from the intake)

depending what year model version of the AEBS manifod you have, on the runner for cylinder 2 there should be a hole for the sensor. If it is for the 99-00 si then it is the black connector in the intake manifold. you can poke a hole in the air filter of the the ait filter pipe going to the turbo inlet and put it there. You will need to extend the wires and you may need a rubber grommet if your putting it in pipe.

It is a 2000 si, if youre looking directly at it its on the 3rd runner. there is a sensor plugged in on it, secured by 2 bolts. but theres also the sensor that i removed from thhe intake where the charge pipe is now. so im confused of which is which, and how to fix the code. any help is greatly appreciated

you can find a way to fit your current sensor into the charge pipe or you can buy a screw in sensor (i believe b20 crv's use them), then weld a bung to the charge pipe. the screw in method provides for a better, boost leak free seal
