HELP!..remote on Viper alarm system stopped working!
The other day I was at my friend's house and the car armed and disarmed fine. About 4 hours later, I'm leaving the house and as I was approaching my car (2000 Integra GS), I pressed the unlock button several times but the car itself did NOT unlock. I figured maybe its taking a while for the signal to reach the car...eventhough I'm standing right next to it..but after waiting, still nothing.
The remote lights up as normal and also beeps as normal. The blue light on the antenna still blinks blue as usual also. Because I couldn't disarm the alarm, I had to disconnect the siren and also the brain. My buddy looked at the system and told me it was a Viper 5701.
...I just don't understand why it would work just fine one moment and then not work a couple of hours later. Any help would be appreciated! TIA!

Some how the brain and the remote got out of sync. Big reason why is it the remote is not in range of the remote and the remote button are pressed more then once. Disarm the alarm thru the valet button and reprogram the the remote to the car. ALso use the keypad lock so this does not happen again.
