Starter wire question from obd1 and obd2

Starter wire question from obd1 and obd2
Is there a difference in the plug for the starter between a OBD1 and OBD2 motor??? I'm going from OBD2 to OBD1 motor and after reading up the FAQ on here I guess its easier to convert everything from a 99-00 Si rather than cut and splice but did not see ANYTHING mentioned about the starter. Any kind of help would be appreciated!
