Default sticking throttle

ok, ive had the 65mm edelbrock throttle body on my d16z6 for 2 years now, and just last week once i shut the car off and let it sit for a bit, the next time i start it i have to hit the gas pedal hard before i start it to "break it free"....also if the car is off and i kinda quicky hit and release the throttle it will do the same thing and needs to be broke free...i dont want to adjust the idle to keep the tb plate open because it idles just fine...any other suggestions on what to do??? im stumped

Any CEL codes? If not, start by inspecting the plugs, wires, cap, rotor and the ignition timing.

no cel codes...only had a code for a bit when i screwed around with the tps, but i cleared that up...and everything there is pretty much just been changed...within the last few months, like i said it just started doing this...and when i removed the intake and look at the plate inside the tb...its that thats like binding somehow in there when its fully closed...

If the plate is ticking, clean the throttle body or replace it.

Another possibility is a bad throttle cable.

there should be a throttle plate shut screw adjust it up just a little. i mean less than a 1mm it will take that out. i got a blox tb and they tell u how to properly adjust everything and that was 1 of them. if u only move the throttle plate a small amount it wont affect your idle. also get a very good brake clean and take the throttle plate out and clean the tb very good so there is NO carbon build up at all.
