Hello, i have a d16y8 that i like to put in a pistons set i recived from a friend, but it is for d16a6. srp say it is 8,5:1 or 9:1. What will it be in a d16y8?

Please help me, i hope i can use the pistons with some eagle rods that i just bought on ebay.

 

Should be around 8.8:1

 

How did you come to that?
When i use a calculater and put A6 pistons and change dome size i get 9.69:1

 

You have to change you piston to deck clearance

 

Thanks, if it will be 8.8:1 it would work good with my turbo
