Engine Swap on 2000 Civic Ex Coupe
Okay, So I'm entirely new to this but I gotta start somewhere.
I've been looking at Engines that I can easily swap into my civic. And I plan on boosting it.
Im not sure whether to go with a b18 type r thats built up the withstand 15+ psi of boost to make it 400+ hp.
or a B16a boosted.
Or ever a k20. but I know the k20 is expensive and not worth it because all the components i have to buy just for the engine to work properly.
What is the best value engine and where should I buy it? Something not over 10k to put in and boost.

Wait I was looking up a b18c 1.8l built shortblock
Blocks: Turbo Street - 81.5 x 87 9.0:1 JE Manley Pro
Add: ERL 5 Point Main Girdle + 1/2" Head Studs
its around a little less than 4k and built for turbo
but i gotta get all the stuff to put it in the civic.
Is this a good find?
