Default Oil Pressure Switch and....Oil Sending Unit...need help..

Another halt on my mission to complete my first motor replacement or swap. I was ready to get the wire harness and intake manifold together on the motor and sure enough usin excessive force to get the harness on its bracket i incidentally broke these...

The bottom one I'm sure is the oil pressure switch in which i have a spare on the old from the old motor..

Can someone clarify what the top on is and can u let me know if it's possible to replace?

Also have these questions.
Questions:

1. What is this oil pressure switch's size. I've ran out of Socket sizes dealing with this thing in which i broke and i got up to a 22mm and it didn't even fit. I understand this is a British standard size..so how do i go about Removing this in order to place the replacement one on?

2. What is the one i broke on top? and can i replace is? also what's the socket size for that one?

I think the top sensor is the knock sensor.

The upper sensor is the knock sensor. They're very expensive new; you'll probably want to try to find a used one. Be careful - as you've seen, they're fragile.

The oil pressure switch is 24mm (or 15/16"). You'll need a deep well socket to install the new one. Do not overtorque it! The threaded portion has a small diameter and will break off easily inside the block.

is it mandatory to put some kind of sealant on those threads or is it just a precaution? why is it that ur ecu doesn't check for it?

On the sender is it, for the knock it isn't.
I use a OBD1 P28 with a H22 map since P28's don't look for knock.
